By accessing or using Appraise Art ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Crafted Tools.

2. Description of Service

Appraise Art provides AI-powered art appraisal services for informational and research purposes. Our appraisals include artwork analysis, attribution suggestions, condition assessments, and estimated market values based on available data.

3. Appraisal Disclaimer

Important: Our AI-generated appraisals are for informational purposes only and should not be considered as certified professional appraisals. They are not intended to be used for:

• Insurance claims or coverage decisions
• Estate valuations for legal purposes
• Tax deductions or donations
• Authentication or provenance verification
• Legal disputes or litigation

For these purposes, please consult a certified professional appraiser who can physically examine the artwork.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it updated.

5. Subscription and Payments

Professional subscriptions are billed monthly at the current rate ($29/month). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are available within 7 days of initial subscription
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

6. User Content

You retain ownership of images and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a license to process and store it for providing the Service. You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the Service
• Misrepresent AI appraisals as certified professional appraisals
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract our AI models

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on appraisal values, financial decisions based on our estimates, or any errors in artwork attribution or valuation.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-uploaded content), is owned by Crafted Tools and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
